Commissions
An original commissioned oil painting can be a wonderfully personal piece to cherish for many years to come.
Alongside creating my own collections, I also love working directly with clients to create their own special piece of art. How the process works is explained below, and if you’ve any further questions please feel free to get in touch.
I look forward to hearing your ideas!
I love working to capture a moment in time and hold it still in paint.
COMMISSION PROCESS
Ideas and price: First we discuss your ideas and photo reference and agree the painting size and final price
Deposit and prep: A 50% upfront deposit is required and preparations begin for the new painting
Creative process: The painting process begins and the commissioned piece of work is created, with client updates along the way.
Drying, varnish, balance: Once complete, the painting is allowed time to dry and a protective varnish applied. The remaining 50% balance is due at this stage.
Framing: When full payment is received, the painting is then bespoke framed by my professional framers. (If you would prefer the painting left unframed, just let me know at start of process, the price can be adjusted accordingly.)
Painting delivery: The finished piece of work is then packaged carefully and shipped to client’s address using An Post Registered post… ready to hang on your wall! Delivery to Republic of Ireland is covered in agreed price, delivery to other locations can be arranged at additional cost.
Enjoy: Time to sit back and enjoy your new specially commissioned piece of art!
